# TagToUpdateInput

TagToUpdateInput

The name and color to set on an existing tag. Both are replaced, so send the
current value for the one you are not changing.

**Fields:**
- `color`: `String!` - The tag's color as a hex triplet: `#` followed by exactly six hex digits, for
example `#F523F1`. Shorthand such as `#F51` is rejected. Buffer maps
recognized palette colors onto `Tag.colorName`.
- `name`: `String!` - The tag's display name, for example `Summer sales`. Between 1 and 100
characters, and unique within the organization. Names are compared exactly,
so `Summer sales` and `summer sales` can coexist.
